Surplus to requirements now. Well used but very tidy 2006 model. 27889 miles, tested until end October.
fitted with oil cooler, K&N air filter, new OEM exhaust last year. Kouba link to lower for my pint size frame but the original link virtually unused.
The seat has had the plastic securing peg underneath removed to enable the 22ltr tank to be fitted (that was sold separately) but it doesn't make any difference, seat still secure. Paint bubbling in some areas. Faded on hand guards and headlight cowling. Lovely engine, doesnt burn oil, absolutely no vices
price now £1700
Heaps of spares that were bought to go to the Himalayas. Full list further down post
Accelerator and clutch cables, 3 sets of brake pads, levers, front sprocket, service parts. Original 2 sets of indicators and white hand guards. Taller side stand, Wolfman front bag, home fabricated pannier frames and rack. Down pipe

is it the higher than average mileage that's putting people off I wonder? 😱 Personally I consider it barely run in. I set off for a six month trip across Russia to Mongolia and the Stan countries with 50,000 showing on the F650gs's clock.
I had priced the bike at £1800 and the spares at £100. More bits come to light as I clear the drawers, will include a down pipe and the Andy Strapz panniers. They alone are worth nearly that. Another couple of weeks and I will put it on eBay.
i bought the bike specifically for a trip to India, was wiped out on the Karakorum Highway, the bike only suffered a bent wheel spindle. It's adventures can be read on www.adventure.gs - Long Way Home 2
after much deliberation I have decided to keep the spare parts with the bike. If the bike doesn't sell and I end up keeping it, the parts will be required at some point. sorry about that.

Pannier frames and rack made for the bike, not worth anything, but they are there if required
Used down pipe bit rusty but no holes!
Not going to include the suspension link or the longer side stand, if someone buys the bike and they want to put it back to original height it will save them a lot of trouble. The Wolfman bag stays on the bike too.

Thanks for your input. must admit I am disappointed, I really wanted the bike to go to someone who would enjoy it and not just trash it, it's a great bike, but even lowered I struggle to get on it! This new hip I have is not quite as good as the OEM
This bike would be good for my son, can you give me a contact number so we can have a chat or text me on 07973 731412, I am working all day but will get back ehn I can
Bike now sold and on its way to its new home in Cornwall. Thank you all very much for your interest. I hope the new owner gets as much fun and pleasure as I had.
It's a sad day for me 😖 My other bike looks lonely on its own and all the memories of the ttr are just that. Memories. What a fantastic bike for a world trip, more people should own one.
Well thank heavens she has surfaced! She is a super bike, didn't really want to get rid of her - I wish you well and hope you have a fraction of the fun I had - post a picture when you get one please
