Many thanks for all the helpful information I received from this forum  when I bought my TTR prior to riding it to the Himalayas in 2009. Time passes quickly but the years trail riding have been good. An old lady past their pension age, with a new hip, I have decided I must stick to the road now, so I shall be putting my ttr on sale here as soon as I get some photos sorted And just keep the 650 X country.

I suppose I'm just testing the water really, wondering if there would be any interest in the bike, we shall see!

Thanks guys, the Mongolian trip in 2005 and the Himalayan one in 2009 are well documented on www.adventure.gs website.
We called our trip the long way home as the Mongolian ride was virtually the same as you know whose! Except we had no back up

I fell off every day in the sand and decided there and then, if I ever did another trip it wouldn't be on a 650gs it would be on something small and light. Hence in 2009 I bought the best bike ever, the TTR

I enjoyed reading and viewing the pics on your website, cheers. Shame you only got as far as Pakistan on the Himalayas trip.

I have also had a compound fracture to my right humerous in the past from being knocked off by a car.
