Swapping some parts this weekend

This weekend I've begun swapping my good parts to bike #2. So I far I've done the carb and airbox, I did the rear wheel and brake pads today and it's also gotten a new chain and sprockets. I also rigged up the new headlight plastic provided by the PO and managed to get a quick ride in last night.biggrin

After lunch, I will return to the garage to swap the front fork.

I've never been big on white but as I've been wondering about changing my color scheme (sorry to all the purists), the white has inspired me to go with the red/white look of the old TTs. But that will probably be the final part of the project.

My rebuild motor from bike #1 is nearly complete. New bearings and seals all the way through. Just need to order timing stuff and an intake boot and install the starter pieces I have.

Here's a few pictures, stick around for more.

Here are the pictures.

I really like the old TT look and think white and red would pop nicely.

This is the nearest Yamaha ever got to a red and white TTR model:

Those are cool too. I'd like to have a red frame.

Gotta love extension cords and duct tape. My fork had a bolt stripped off of the axle support so I traded out for the other one and added some new bars, didn't care much for the baby blue.

She's a beauty alright. I'm a big fan of the gold wheels.
