Runs fine, no ignition switch, steering lock broken, wiring repairs needed, will need new back tyre, chain and sprockets, numberplate and mounting, 14k mls, FMF power core pipe, Totally TTrs bash plate and case saver, will probably need a new headlamp unit and brake pads front and rear, left hand guard missing, will post pictures tomorrow, I've had for 2 years prior to theft no issues. Will be supplied with V5 and old MOTs and a few receipts, have got original indicators and a spare hiflo oil filter

It does all look OK frame and forks, the rear suspension is squeeking and it didn't use to, you can see the chain is shagged even though somebody did actually adjust it!
Pictures can be flattering!!

I'm no expert but I think cat C is cosmetic only and that means something that can be un bolted and replaced. Yes of course it's still for sale but am waiting for v5 from insurance

According to Autotrader:-

"A Cat C vehicle will have suffered significant damage in the past, probably in an accident. The insurance company that handled the claim decided that repairing the vehicle would have cost more than replacing it. Insurers often sell Cat C vehicles on for salvage. Many are safely repaired and returned to the road."

And there we have it, cheers cubber! I think its basic economics, book value £1700,  and needs to be repaired for 65% of book, about £1100 less recovery costs and charges (storage) £350 so only leaves £750 for parts and labour, not much when you think of cost of new parts (genuine Yamaha) to return to standard trim.

Nice one Steve. I think a few of us were tempted with that one. It's found a good home, I recon.
