hi peeps I am currently using a valvoline 10w40 4t fully in my 1993 tt250r but anyone tell me if would be better to use a 10w40 semi(shell) or just stick with what i got
To be honest, either will work fine as long as they are motorcycle oils so they will work properly with a wet clutch.
As a personal preference, I use semi-synth as it has just that bit more "body" for an air cooled donk
The key is not so much which oil you use but how often you change it

I trust you both had a good break???????
I change my oil every two - three months depending how I use it
but thanks for the response
You don't find you have any clutch slippage with using fully synth then?
I change mine probably every say 6-8 ride outs on the green lanes ish. When I feel the gear changes getting a bit clunkier.
