has anyone tried these small cylinders to blow up tyres how do they fit on the valve & wheres the best & cheapest place to buy them ive seen some & the thread is on the outside so how does this fit on valve

they need a cartridge holder to hold the cylinder. I have used them but if you have had the tire off the rim it's going to take 5-6 of them to get the rear tire to pop back to the rim there is post's on hear about this kind of thing. would say go for a 12v pump an take the case off of it can be had on ebay for around the £5 pound mark see link thing

this is a very small pump with the case off just don't put your fingers in the gears when it's running and you will need to fit a 12v socket to the bike as well

The 16g ones put in about 8psi each. They screw on inside the valve. You have to screw them in nice & quick so don't lose the air out.

I see in the vid Pete he has an inflation tube adapter screwed on the co2 cartridge my holder takes the screw cartridges an shut's off so you don't have gas loss like that when you lift it off. have said before in posts I'm not lucky when it comes to punctures two on the TTr last year one on the Honda xr the pump keeps working I carry the gas on my mountain bike tool kit now
