Every ttr owner passes through the forum pretty much eh!
Welcome aboard,
Matt spent a bit of time doing the bike up forks, valves, linkage etc, Kayla owned it before him and did the RS125 wheel conversion.

Hi thanks for the welcome
This bike is proving a pig to start any tips
Has a good spark and fuel getting to cylinder
Engine spins over well and coughs but will not catch then what sounds lie the clutch spaghetti makes a clatter !?
Is their a trick I'm missing to the start from cold
Any advice welcome even sarcy ones
Cheers Mikey

Matt said that it runs slightly rich and that it was slightly tricky to get started. Guess he never got round to sorting it out. Did you get a warranty with it? If so tell the dealer you want it sorted out I.e put smaller jet in.

Fresh fuel in the carb helps on TTR's. And closing the plug gap to a slight bit under what's recommended can help too.

Yes dealer probably warmed it up. It wasn't that long after the dealer bought it to when you bought it from the dealer, so the fuel won't be that old.

The carb seems to be searching??...

image.jpgWhen riding at any speed over 70kph speedo in kph

seems like the engine is holding back Seaarching for more fuel leads me to think carb issue

think I'll have to follow the excellent looking Sticky on the forum and give it a go at servicing the carb

started stripping to get to carb. This is the air box ? Could this be part of the reason for cold start problem

again thanks for the support this forum gives

Yeah he drilled that out to get it breathing more as he was going to keep it as a road only bike, all written ere - ttr250.activeboard.com/t60964761/my-ttr-soopermoto/
