Just thought id introduce myself as only recently stumbled on this great looking forum. Im fairly new to off road riding but have owned road bikes for years and am somewhat of a track day addict. Ive recently been hankering after some muddy action and having done a couple of experience days am now looking to join full time and buy myself a bike. Ive decided on a TTR as I rode one on one of the off road days I did and loved it! it also seems a bit more idiot proof than these other highly strung off road bikes where you spend more time checking valves or rebuilding pistons than rinding the bikes! thought id show off some of my Banzai skills I picked up and why i love this bike. hope you approve. Needless to say I now need to find the right bike as the main problem with these bikes seems to be finding them? if anyone has one they feel may fit the bill please feel free to let me know but i'll be putting an ad in the wanted section so won't repeat myself now. Anyway this seems like a fantastic site, a great resource and always reassuring having somewhere to turn for tips and advice when entering a new discipline. i shall certainly be reading through all the  posts over the xmas break in preparation for hopefully owning one of these bikes shortly. all the best guys. Joe.

Welcome Joe, are you Italian?!..

You're front wheel decided to go skyward there!

The TTR is one of the best 'non competition' bikes about.

If that is what you are going to do then you have a lot of reading to do!
