Hello everyone. I just joined the forum. I recently purchased a 1999 TTR250. Ready to go ride. I live in Lakewood, CO.

Ah, you noticed. The forks came from a YZF. Not sure on the year that they came off of as they were on the bike when I purchased it. If anyone knows a way that I can determine a year, that would be great for seals, rebuilt etc.

The fork protectors look like their off a wr. I spose it is yz yokes too...

Hey I see you have a power core on there. You must be riding above 5000', me too. What's your main jet size and is the snorkel out and how's it run up there? - Plumas (2003 US pretty much stock)

 Yes, power core installed. I do like the pipe a lot. I usually ride at 7,000-8,000' which is Rampart Range. Looking to get up higher in the mountains next season. I havent had the time to do much tinkering with the bike since I bought it so I'm not sure on the main jet and snorkel. Once I get to digging into it I will let you know. I don't know that ill be changing much as it runs fantastic with the current setup.

Thanks man, if you ever get into the carb let me know what main jet you find.  And if you get the seat off I'd be curious to see a pic of the top of the airbox.
