So, just finished putting mine back together, runs really well with a WR450 Enduro pipe and drilled airbox, no flatspots but still a bit rich with a sooty plug and is an arse to start when hot or cold no

But, when you do get it going, it goes great and the most fun I have had under 60mph....Best mod are the Aprillia RS125 17" wheels and super sticky Bridgestone S20 Evos

That looks nice, Matthew. wink

I hope you are careful about where you ride it, according to the Government Vehicle Check site the bike has no Mot and is on a SORN.nodisbelief

There again, I presume you've recently had it tested and taxed it now.

Wow, thats a great welcome to a new member, trying to expose me for potentially law breaking antics! Sorry to dissapoint but unless you think a trackday is a public road, pipe down grandad biggrin

Nice looking bike. You added frame guards and yellow bits and zaust! And fitted the fork gaitors correctly

plus rebuilt forks, rear linkage, valve clearances, carb, just tinkering with it really to get in good order.

You can't polish a turd but you certainly can roll it in glitter!

Looks good srad, mine was transformed by just putting on road biased tyres, 17" rims would be a blast

140 tyre on back? Are you going to try a different size jet to try and cure your problem of running rich?

Well it runs on the throttle really well and just a bit jerky and flat bottom end at the moment so will drop a jet size but it seems to start a bit better now its being used more so I will source a couple of jets and have a go in the next couple of weeks, plug colour is closer to where it should be but not quite right!

Did about 60 miles on it today on fast B roads, I will never loose my licence but it pretty fun on the tight corners and at opposite ends of the spectrum to my R1 so happy!

I think motards are real fun in town on all the really tight bends and stuff.

I had a Honda Dominator a few years ago and put tzr 250 wheels on it along with a set of xt air forks. That was before the manufacturers jumped on the band wagon, scared a few big bikes down the back roads. The big bore kit helped as well
