Albania on a '93 TTR250

Hi guys,

Recently I spent a week in Albania with my TTR250 and some friends.

This is how me and my lil baby looked like at the end of the trip, on the shore of Lake Ohrid:

I will post some more details later. For now I can only say that Albania is probably the most beautiful and friendly country I've ever been to.

Some teaser videos (for now raw, not edited yet):

Cheers,

bosi

Great PIC. Can't beat a beer after a hard days ride. Looks like fun. You rode down through Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia?

The bikes came to Skopje, Macedonia on a trailer/van, and they went back home from there. We arrived there by plane.

No chance my (and others too) rear tyre survives the connection from Poland. For some guys it would be like over 1000 miles one way.

Skopje to Pogorec (ca 100 miles) used up a noticeable part of my tyre.

Rear is full on enduro, front is now CST 755, Taiwan, el cheapo, but works quite well, looks good, and lasts up to 4000 miles even on tarmac.

Holiday was perfectamente.

I have ca 2000 (varying quality) pics from my goggles camera, my friends have lots of good pics made with real glass. Everything is on the way.

For now a few. This is a field repair of header pipe, rally style:

Again some great trails and great scenery, thanks for sharing, your mate in front of you did some mental power slides from 3:47 minutes!

We had really great riding in there! Power slides, over 60mph jumps, all kinds of craziness!
As it turns out, my sprag clutch started dying 2 days before end of the trip. Luckily, I was thinking it's a dying battery, and did not freak out and quit riding; I was jumpstarting her instead. Even more luckily, the starter and its gears did not explode and destroy the engine.
I have one observation: on gravel roads my TTR, when revved properly, was easily keeping up with over 600 cubic beasts like LC4s, Huska, Africa, not to even mention a bunch of XTR 660s :)
