Haha yep we have all done it! Great vid! Boggy rutted overgrown mess! I do like knarly lanes like that though! There is a couple tricky lanes like that up this way.

What an uphill struggle, it's much easier downhill - even I've done it downhill! biggrin

It somehow seems to retain (or attract) wetness.

Well done.

Martyn

Run off from a field or nearby natural springs etc and the moisture just doesn't bugger off. Its funny how some lanes get treacherously impassable. The ones with crazy sinking mud are the worst, before you know it you end up a couple of foot down!

Great video Martyn! I was willing you on to get to the top. Well done for doing the lane upwards. Shame that vids don't actually show how steep the lane is in parts.

Good work out for both you and the TTR eh?  biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

It's certainly a lane I will avoid in the future if out for a gentle bimble no

Brian

PS That Oxforshire mud doesn't look inviting either Dominic!

We had a similar track here in Australia we named the MUD MILE. We would leave it till the last track to ride on for the day as to save the lubed chain and i guess for being wet to early in our ride.
