Thank you Peter I suppose I will just have to wait and see once they arrive I did get quotes to have rims built using my own hubs at a cost of around £220 per wheel but the expense including tyres is almost as much as I paid for the bike.

Yeah they are ment to be here this weekend also been told that I could also fit the dtx from caliper direct fit for supermoto wheels and fit are forks but I personally think that is wishful thinking.

The rear hubs are the same as ttr but the bearings are smaller so I put ttr bearings in and used the standard spacers the front I trimmed the Dt spacer on the left and nothing on the right just ttr speedo drive.

Have also now fitted the Dt front forks they are sprung much better than ttr I got stanless steal 43 mm sleeves made with the 40mm inside diameter to fit dt forks and the wheel is a direct fit.

The test run went from being 10 miles to a 100 mile round trip to my mates bike garage to get a new front tyre as mine decide a bit of sharpe metal would like to meet the cords well that's my excuse haha
There already sought after to convert the normal Dt u need the forks aswell I've got tempory brass sleeves in right now but having stanless ones made as Dt fork stantions are 40 mm instead of 43 mm the dtx forks are slightly longer around 35 mm where the spindle goes through so it turns in a lot better and sits nicer in general I'm more than pleased with the finished article I might even give it a wash in all the conversion has cost me 200 pounds and a favor oh and 30 quid for a front tyre.

mine looked like that briefly but its all dirt for me , it was fun on the black stuff though had ttr hubs laced to excel rims , wish id kept them at times for the occasional Sunday road trip
heres a then and now its had a hard life since it was new in 2010
Just need to get a shorter front mud guard and a shorty front pipe when they are in stock.
I ordered another 5 shorty pipes at the end of May and have already chased our fabricator a couple of times but will probably have to ring next week to get an eta. Some parts of Devon are a bit slowwwwwwwwwww
I call dibs on one haha as soon as one comes in I have moneies waiting I think a totallyttr sticker would look good on my front number board with a blue Yamaha decal. Also I would quite like a black/blue seat cover

Some new pictures engine has just had new piston and top end refresh much more grunt to it now and pulls great in 6th witch it use to struggle with have a few parts on route to completly change the appearance of the bike including a stainless exhaust that a engineer friend is making. Destroyed my back tyre so I can justify buying a new one gone for 150/60r17 Dunlop sport max gp as this is a common upgrade for the Dt wheels also a 110/70r17 for the front same make as rear so will be more updates soon.
I've received all my new parts in the form of a stolen recovers 2013 Yamaha wr250 supermoto I'm pretty much going to build a new age ttr 250 with the wr engine and around 80% of the parts from the wr pictures to follow.
