So what do you think of the Cam then I'm happy with mine and would give it a 9 out of 10 only thing letting it down is the battery life but all the cam's are much the same on that about an hour and a half even the gopro so a day out will use 4 battery's or more. I'm still running my old cam along side the sj4000 for now as it's just switch on at the start of the day out and off when you get back home but running it on a pic every 4 sec's so I have pic's and video to play with when editing I just need a master class in Editing as there is so much trickery you can put into it now I'm using Quicktime for Editing what are you using.

I am liking it Martyn, on Friday I had it on continuously which is why my battery ran out and missed some lanes, I left it on because it is a bit tricky to know that its on, because of where I mounted it on the side of my Helmet.  I am thinking of looking at alternative mounting methods so I can at least see the blue light flashing when I am riding.. Possibly at the front, like Klausnikski does, It would be nice if the charging socket was accessable whilst riding so it could be plugged in, But for the price its great for now, I guess if I ended up doing a load more filming, i may get another in the future, but not planned at the moment. I have downloaded Movie maker, for the editing which is a freebie and dead easy to use, its in the windows essentials pack. In fact its that easy, I worked out how to use it just by playing around with it!! Not got the features of some you may pay for, but never mind....

I have Movie Maker as well but have been using Quicktime for 4-5 years with the old cam the editing in Youtube is good as well. as to getting at the charging socket when it's in it's case the case's can be had for about £5 with free post on Ebay from the East so not out of the way to get one and make a hole in it for the plug and run a usb charger with the cam on the bars it makes a bleeping sound before it cuts out as the battery go's flat you can just about hear it with your helmet on but no chance with the bike motor running. I took this vid 4 years back when I got the old cam I put it in my 2500 gallon Koi pond. it worked very well under water will drop the sj4000 in and see what happens.

I don't want to steal Klausnikski's thunder, but you never know, one day perhaps, no external mike for the SJ4000 though :(
