Even smaller ride out

On me Tod this weekend one bike one rider so went up onto the Moor. you have to plan the lanes to miss out as things could go tit's up and you could be there for some time before international rescue turn up. i sorted the helmet cam so had lots of pic's of the ground in front an even took it off an put it on a post to catch a nice river crossing. found some nice rutted lanes with a round trip door to door of 60 miles an 30 lanes. had to miss some of the hard lanes but will catch them with Oly next time

Nice ones Martyn, it's good to see you're obviously enjoying it. smile

You have to take extra care on the Moor to ensure you don't come a cropper on your own. bleh

Yep have spent 5 min's under a bike in a ditch trying to get out and it's no fun. i went down simms hill rather than up as it was wet had it have been dry i would have given it a go but you can slide top to bottom on your feet trying to stand on it in the wet or with the bike on top of you. i like the solo ride as im a slow rider two many years on trial bikes an to old to speed up now. simms hill will be taken on next time with 2 or more riders

That looks great. Being out on your own certainly adds an extra bit of adrenaline to the ride.
