I had read that some people had difficulty removing the rear axle and that removing the rear axle spacers could be hard, but F@king hell! My axel came out easy enough but all the spacers in my rear wheel are bound together so that if I turn the spacer on one side the spacer on the other side will turn. I effectively have a hollow axle through which the proper axel slides. Any advice on how to get them out? I'm pretty sure it will be at the expense of my wheel bearings.
I use a Dyna bolt (used for fixing stuff onto concrete ) stick it in tighten it up and use a long punch or similar from the other side to knock it out .
a bit of heat helps and when putting the bearings back in cool them in the fridge and heat the hub up a bit makes life much easier .
I think Brian uses a proper bearing remover kit he found on Ebay
That's a big dyna bolt. Excellent idea boof!. I had almost got there - thinking about barkbuster handlebar inserts. But that is just what I need. Does your photo show a dyna bolt inside a wheel bearing? That's a big dyna bolt . I have never been up that end of the dyna bolt shelf in Bunnings. I will explore tonight. Thanks

I think its around 19 mm from memory and their cheap as , one of the best time savers I've come across when it comes to removing wheel bearings
first step towards the big boys end of Bunnings is buying a TTR LOL (they also have really cheap Gas torches as well in the tool section to apply the heat )
