Making best use of a garage wall!

2015 02 13 Shelving on main wall done.jpg

The main reason I have spent time with my brother over the last couple of days was to help him put up shelving in his new garage to get best use of the space. The photo shows how far we got.

He still has a small Dexion shelving unit to put in the RH corner but it's already looking good. His hobby is building computers which explains why so much shelf space was soon filled up with PCs and a printer!

I often wondered how Trev kept his figure - now I know. biggrin

Good result - when are you coming round 'cos my garage is ready and waiting?

Impressive stuff.

I see 6 dead computers and an old printer/scanner taking up valuable real estate there

Dead right Steve - most of it is scrap!

I have been looking after several boxes of tools for Trev for about 20 years (he trained as a panel beater and sprayer and still has all his original panel beating tools etc) since he last had a man cave and am keen to pass them back hence my enthusiasm for the project wink

Still waiting to hear from Trev about the exhausts. I think they were donations from a friend who had picked them up in a clearance. Don't think they would suit a TTR no

Trish has introduced me to Pinterest and I have wasted quite a bit of time (nicely) going through their garage and storage pages.

Here is an example. Makes Trev look untidy!
