Adapting a fuel tank for a 1994 TTR250 Raid

My son just purchased a 1994 TTR250 Raid 1994 model. The bike is in pretty good nick, but the fuel tank is rusted out due to long term storage & water impregnated fuel. We live in outback Australia, so all purchases are internet based. I need to know if there are any plastic tanks available for this model, or can be adapted to this model. I don't really want a bigger tank, just something to replace the stuffed one. Any assistance would be appreciated

Welcome to the TTR forum Michael and happy recent birthday too.

If you can get one then a plastic tank from a blue TTR will fit - but you may have to alter the seat to fit it properly.
