Why not a BBR Motorsport 150cc kit...
new barrel/piston/rings/gaskets /stage 1 cam all come in the kit...

25cc extra dosn't sound like alot..but it's a 20% increass...

Hi Zach.

They are totally different engines and the chances of the TTR barrel fitting the crankcase and TTR125L cylinder head is remote.

Also, I am pretty sure the 125 frame wouldn't take the size of the TTR donk and the suspension might not be up to the extra weight.

Petenz's advice seems the best way forward.

Good luck!

Brian

Doesn't look like a good idea to me (I have one of each).  The 125 frame is too small and is a POS anyway.  I love the 125 but they gave it a cheap ass frame -- you may have the frame cradle from BBR that substitutes in part for the "missing" portion of the frame.  And the linkage would be under-engineered at every point.  Lots of welding.

I thought about the big bore kit summer before last (the one mentioned by petenz), there seems to be good 125 discussion on thumpertalk and dirtbikerz.  There is this guy I think in Australia who went all in, big bore, cam, ports, suspension ... : http://www.dirtriderz.com/topic/4011-ttr125-big-bore-crazy-stupid-awesome/
