Hello all TTR fans out there, I have a small problem to solve...
After going laneing the other week bike running fine, it is now stalling loads on tiny throttle moment, or on blip of throttle. Requires throttle to start when warm as well.
However once running on opening throttle slowly it stays running but comes back to a high idle!
Carb has been apart today and all jets checked and seem clear, and whole carb cleaned with carb cleaner...
One thing that was noticed, on turning idle screw right in stalls, but once running the idle screw can be turned all the way out with no effect on the idle of the bike.
Has anyone got ideas on this or had similar problems???
As Martyn says but, if the problem just started after a trail ride, was it a "wet" ride - could water have got into the tank or carb somehow? The symptoms you describe are the same as a water droplet underneath the jets. When the throttle is opened the water gets pulled up to the jets and block them..........
