It got deeper after this point soit was time to lift it out of the sticky mess it was in. The chap I was with returned just after I pulled it out!

Im glad im not the only one this happend to me last weekend I would love to show you a pic but my phone didnt survive the encounter with a very large puddle the ttr on the plus side did and finished the day however i did arrive home on a flat tyre a companions wr did drown and required some drastic dismantling and draining and a rope topull out he found a large hole close to the edge which he declared was the safe route much to the delight of the rest of our party but as he had the most comprehensive tool kit with him thats ever fitted in afender bag i thougt it best to keep a straight face and rescue him

My mates got mine going again but there was water in the oil. I think because it took mfe a fair while to get it out. Anyway drove it home real gentle as it wasn't that far. The oil looked liked a cappuccino, changed the oil five times to get it clear again. Seems to be ok now, hope so going to Devon next weekend.

the up side is it will be spotless on the inside biggrin

waiting to head out for a sin morning ride , defiantly no issues with water but its already 32deg and its only 7am

Ha, I only went in the water at that point cos somebody else had left a tyre trail going in at the same point, they must have to the same fate. There was a house with long garden right next to this spot. I bet the owners thought heres another idiot :)
