Guys and girls on the search for a TTR250, so I can do some lanes and not end up breaking the bank when I drop it. I live in the South East but willing to travel for the right bike, anyone?
....they're a bit like buses, none around for love or money and then five will turn up on ebay! Well worth waiting for though. No cracked rads to worry about and you'll spend less time dickering with it - unless you want to. They won't break the sound barrier but if you're only riding green lanes how much BHPs do really need?

I know of a very cheap white TTR in Torpoint, Cornwall, for £500. Looks a bit tatty and is low on compression so isn't starting on the button. Probably needs new rings or, at worst, a rebore. It would still be a cheap TTR after spending out on that work!
Haven't decided what its worth yet. I'll put some pictures up after Xmas with a video of how well the bike starts and runs.
Its value is more about condition and mileage rather than age as they don't make them anymore. 8000 miles is nothing on a TTR.
I've never had any problems with this bike that's why I don't have any postings on this forum against my profile.
It has got:
Brand New battery with Optimiser connections
Renthal High rise bars
New O ring chain and sprockets 48 rear 13 front ( spare 13 and 14 sprockets new)
Original factory fitted Yamaha sump guard
Yamaha hand guards (alloy)
Twin Air filter
comes with rear footpegs and indicators - removed
This bike doesn't need to have any uk power mods done to it as it an unrestricted Japanese spec bike with digital speedo and grease nipples on the swinging arm, suspension linkages unlike the UK models.
