New (to me) bike... Warning .. not yamaha lol

Been getting so fed up with the ttr not being on the road (although the last part it needed arrived this morning {thanks Brian}

So i went and got myself drz400sm biggrin

I had one of these about a year ago which had full yoshi system and full drzE model cams and carb. I loved the bike soo much  smile then it got stolen no

Got the bike back a few days later after catching the little t**t stripping it in his garden lol. It was never the same after that so i reluctantly sold it which i always regretted.

So here's the new one :

Its from a dealer so not cheap but i'm happy with it... Pick it up monday morning which gives them time to service and check it over..

Not sure if i should sell the ttr now or keep it for greenlaning confuse see how it goes...

Away to fit new timing tensioner to ttr and run it in biggrin

The only colour id have is the blue white 😄
I originally went in to buy a ktm990 adventure then noticed the ktm 660smc so decided on that but when I seen the drz sitting next to it there was no choice 😃

As for the ttr ... Tensioner helped but didn't fix the rattle as the revs drop 😞
The garage I took it to today now thinks it could be the springs on the basket a bit loose but again I have my doubts...
I've just had enough of it now might end up selling it on as a slight project. Either way I'm not throwing any more money at it lol

Great looking bike there you have bought, I looked at buying a drz but ended up buying a wr250x which is great but would have liked a little more power for the road. I will keep an eye out in the for sale section incase you decide to sell the ttr as I am on the look out for a winter project bike!

I'm going to take clutch cover off again and check basket again lol as a last hope.

I have no idea how much to ask for it as it is but I do know it's cost me over 1500+ in the last month or so lol. I'm going to lose money on it no doubt but I'd rather keep it in the shed for a rainy day than lose too much on it.

I'm going to take it out again today and get some decent vids of the noise it's making in the hope someone has some ideas.
Failing that it'll be in the for sale section lol
