Hi,   I think I am the new owner of the bike that started the supermoto conversion thread.  Apart from the wheels and raid tank/seat, the rest of the bike seems to be standard. I shall be taking the advice from the forums to see if I can liberate a little more power, (air box, carb settings and exhaust restriction.) At present top gear seems like an overdrive.

Welcome Alan.

It would obviously take a Yorkshire Tyke to handle all that raw power round the IoM, well done. wink

It is a little different (but more fun in a way) than my Suzuki 1000. Over the mountain all you have to do is hold it against the stop and steer. It was a little draughty up there but 65 mph seemed to it's limit, various reports lead me to think 70 plus should be achievable. That said, I am enjoying riding down the local B roads.

Hi Alan, yes, that's the bike that started it all! Mine's still in pieces in the process of copying it. Having to make my own stainless bracket for the front caliper, and boy is the front wheel a tight fit between the forks! How much clearance do you have?

Didn't realise it had a Raid tank, but I'm hoping to get mine this week.

Should have it all back together by next week smile

Anyway, welcome!

PS What diameter is your front disk?

Mine is getting there gradually......Super moto 1.jpg
