I have a bit of OCD and I like everything to be as good as new.
I have so far changed my front mudguard and headlight surround. All I have left to do is touch up the frame and get both rear plastic panels and mudguard.
Being scottish I grudge paying £80 per side pan and £90 for a rear mudguard. Why are parts so expensive for the ttr compared to other bikes? Some you can get full sets of plastics for the price of a rear pan!
Why are there so few places that sell parts?
I really love the bike but I'm consider selling it for something more common!
Sorry rant over.

Totally agree about the high prices of TTR panels. I looked at the possibility of getting some batches made up by a local plastic injection moulding company but the cost of the forming tools (moulds), CNC jigs & programming etc made it uneconomical.
If your panels are whole but tatty then why not consider applying a graphic kit such as from Enjoy Mfg that cover the whole of the panels?
You can get the shine back on your panels after sanding by going over with the hot air gun so as just to make the surface shine but don't blame me if you overdo it and melt a patch!
