hi all just bought this 98 ttr in need of some tlc its all there from what I can see (apart of decals)rides nice only thing is its a little hesitant on the throttle under light load so thinks the carb may need a clean

hi brian don't know if you remember me from the dirtybiking website a few years back also I used to run darracott on the lands end, im pretty tied up with trials most weekends but will try and get out on a rideout

Hi Martin

Welcome to the world of ttr'sbiggrinbiggrin

We have some nice lanes to do out this way and you would be welcome to join us for a ride out, might be out for an evening ride soon, will let you know. Like Bri has said I am planning a ride out from Woodbury soon, cracking run and camping nearby, be good if you could make it.

Your bike looks pretty clean, mine isn't so pretty, but goes like a rocket and is sort of mechanically soundwinkwink

would be interested in the evening ride not been out your way before, as for the woodbury rideout will have to see if it clashes with any south west trials champ rounds as i'm concentrating on them this year :)
the bike is in pretty good shape just the usual things to play around with, if the speedo is right its done 5200kms

Hi Martin

Might get to plan an evening ride in a couple of weeks time, are you riding over or will you bring the bike over on trailer? As I would need to know what time to finish the run, as you might not want to ride home in the dark? Trail bike lights are no better than candlescrycry

yes they have had one hill climb this year the next is 5th October according to the south west centre ACU fixture list
