Thanks To Jarrah, who kindly sent me some leftover carby bits, seals, gaskets, accelerator pump, O-Rings etc...and especially the 52.5 Main, my bike is running great now
A bit more acceleration and power all over, it's great in the singles, smooth on rough uphills, just better all round
I removed the snorkel and enlarged the opening to around twice the size
fitted the 52.5 jet and dropped the clip on the needle 1 notch
Checked the float level, a general clean up, new float bowl gasket, seals and O-Rings etc...
A quick adjustment on the mixture screw and idle screw and off it went first time
Took about 10k's to settle in and a couple more tweaks to the mixture screw
So how's it sound now ? Well it's still quite of course, standard muffler, but has a nice roar when you open it up a bit
Thanks again Jarrah
Next thing is the Exhaust, I'm going to do the De-restricting mod in a while as seen on facebook
Cheers all
BM Steve
P.S.
I'll take a few shots with the new camera as well
