Hi i'm in Crediton Devon uk just did a deal an sold my BMW Dakar 650

an will be picking up a 05 TTR 250 next week i dont no why i did it as i have a green lane bike already a very old xr 250 i'm a TRF Devon member some say i turn a good spanner work on an build custom bikes an at the weekends i go play in the Devon lanes. have i dun the right thing with a TTR 250

Welcome to the forum Pug - hope you are going to be pleased with your TTR. Only you will know if its right for you after you have taken it out on some of Devon's best. Some nice lanes near you.

Was it a local bike? I know a member near you was selling his coz of knee problems.

I am not too far away from you at Exton - t'other side of Exeter.

Hello Pug

Of course you've done the right thing - the TTR will go places in Devon that your BMW wouldn't.

Take it steady and get to know Devon's lanes and trails. The TTR is a very capable beast and wil serve you well.

I see your dad gave you a proper name, like mine did. biggrin

Yep that's the bike came by way mutual mate. only had a quick ride round on the black stuff will put it in the mud next week with a trip out Dartmoor way. liked it as it felt very much like my 84 xr to ride an my xr is not like any other one.
