hi all im new to forum so please be gentle

have ridden for years and done quite abit of fiddling in the man cave etc

got a 1992  model that needs some tlc before i go lanning on her 

so im looking for a repair manual for refferrence 

pdf format would be great 

look foward to meeting any local members for a ride out

A 1992 model is interesting, I thought that they started making TTR250's as of 1993? , click HERE. Not saying you are telling fibs but if it is a 1992 model, it is something new and VERY rare.

If you need a full repair manual, PM (private message) me your email address and I will send it through. Bear in mind that it will be for the blue models but most things are exactly the same (at least all the main important info).

well it`s on a K plate and the v5 says 1992 

as its an import i appreciate that its age related and not knowing much about these TTR`s  i just assumed 1992

Very interesting!

The "K" prefix plate registration letter was used in the UK between 01 August 1992 and 31 July 1993 so a 1992 bike is possible but I haven't come across one before confuse

The frame dating information in the FAQ is as follows:

Open Enduro 4GY1 4GY-000101 to 025000 is 1993/4

Does your frame number fall within that range?

hi brian 

 

just checked frame and as you rightly comment  003506  so within dating

so i assume its those clever people at dvla biggrinbiggrin

it was imported in late 98 

to be honest im not bothered as long as it makes a nice bike and does the job well when ive finished tinkering

just wanna get back out riding biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin
