Had a wee issue with a shut gate at about 120k... Got it down to about 70/80k before it

high sided on the little ridge between the road & padock...

Only smashed a $1000 plus speedo unit....

High speed falls can be frightening.  The only time you want to see the  underside of a bash plate is when your working on the machine. Had a TT 500 in the 80s. Remember going flat out in top gear through the bush with trees beside me. Prob 120 kph. Now adays would only ride that fast on beaches or open flat areas.
