Hi, I have a ttr250 and its got a CRD exhaust and it is flipping loud is there any way I can suppress the noise, And the bike has got a CRD bash plate but there is no fixing at the front it is sort of spring loaded is that the way it should be, any help will be appreciated, regards Ian.

I tried various ways of quietening down a CRD exhaust but in the end gave up and sold it - they make a good price on eBay wink

Assuming we are talking about the same model of CRD, this is what I found inside mine:

Repacking it didn't make it any quieter sadly so I decided to try restricting the exhaust using the "penny washer" method:

The modification didn't make the exhaust significantly quieter but I gained performance from the increased back pressure wink

Regarding the CRD bashplate, can you post a pic of the flappy front. I might have something to help fix it biggrin
