Beautiful muddy riding today, I enjoy the pics you guys post from all over the place so I'll chip one in from the northwest US (Shotgun Creek OHV area to be exact). No pics of the muddy jungle, it was so bad I had to use both hands the whole time.  Pic 1 would be a view of the "3 Sisters," if I had a better camera, the snow disappears into the clouds. Pic 2 is just before plunging into that muddy jungle, check the sign -- fortunately motorcycles weren't in season.

First ride on the TTR in real mud and it seems to do just fine, nice low torque and forgiving rear end especially compared to the YZ I sold for this. I keep missing second but I think its me and not the bike. After a month I have a list of modification ideas but I think I'll give it a summer before getting into that.

Thnx for the photos. Good to see the TTR  near the transport vehical if the bike cant be ridden to tracks. We have The three sisters also here in Australia just west of Sydney.

for your mods, first I would install some Highway Dirt Bike hand guards, just over in Colorado  HDB Here

I have some arriving next week

Send some more photo's, I'd love to do a dirt bike holiday in the States

Australia looks awesome, you have a lot of nice dirt. Some day I'll get down there. Interesting hand guards are they easy to install with stock grips?

Haven't got them yet, they should turn up in a couple of days, I'll post some installation photo's

I ordered them in white and got some black shields as well, I couldn't decide on colour, only an extra $17.50.

I also got the folding mirror option as well.

Expect to pay for them though, cost me $280 au delivered to the door, although a lot less for you in Oregon, but what the hell, I hate the stock mirrors

Hope they turn up soon
