Out for the third time with the East MIDs TRF on SundayI

I decided to reverse a route we had just come up as the rest of the group were looping back round to a meeting point. Needing to practice my technique I took the opportunity to try this in the opposite direction. Also took the time to record it too.

The bridge near the end is at Three Shire Head near Buxton.

Derbyshire - beatiful county with lots of amazing sights and places.

Ackording to Wikipedia:-

Three Shire Heads is the point on Axe Edge Moor where Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire meet.

UK SK009685 or 53.213N 1.987W

It is is on the River Dane, which marks the Cheshire border in this area.

On the east of the river, the border between Staffordshire and Derbyshire runs north-east for about a mile to Cheeks Hill, on the higher regions of Axe Edge Moor.

From Cheeks Hill the border runs south then east to the head of the River Dove.

The main landmark is a packhorse bridge. The bridge is Grade II-listed, and was probably constructed in the late 18th century.

Here it is...

The video shows the lane on the eastern side of the river Dane heading north. We had previously riden down the lane to the east from Knotbury, which you see the rest repeating at the end. Following this we headed south on the western side of the river. Just a short part of an excellent day.
