Just thought I would share some pictures of my bikes. This will be, of course, at risk of being totally off-topic and irrelevant to this forum. If you don't like the word Honda maybe you should leave this page immediately as there will be one included below. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
First of all, here is my 2000 TT-R250M after rebuilding it (most will have already seen it)-
This is my 1999 WR400 before I rebuilt it-
Now afterwards (still needs the white headlight cover sticker and rear fender Yamaha logo)-
This is my latest project, a CT200 Ag bike that I acquired for free, it looks bad but runs sweet. I am in the process of refurbishing it, it should come up alright-
Hope that wasn't too boring? I would be interested to see other owners bikes and the changes that they have had through the years of ownership if anyone is willing?

Like to see the honda during restoration. Is there a site i can follow it. Had many hondas in the past. If permitted id like to show a few photos from the 70s. As i only have a TTR now.

This is the only site that I am a member of. If you like I can take a few pictures tomorrow and post them up. I am already half way through refurbishing it.
If you want to post pictures of motorbikes, especially old ones, I am sure we would all enjoy seeing and hearing about them.
Thanks to all that have taken the time to reply (and a bigger one for those with pictures ;). Glad it was a welcome sight, even the little Honda, more than I could have asked for!
Cheers!

Photo taken late 60s. Im on the front. With my brother and sister. A honda 50 cc. Registered here in australia. My dad use to double me on it. No helmets were compulsary back then on the roads in Queensland Australia although my dad made me wear a helmet.
talking of old bikes, here is my 1983 gpz1100a1 that i bought as a restoration project a couple of years ago,did a rebuild from the ground up to return to standard condition, had one of these about 25 years ago and decided to relive my youth
sadly decide to sell it the other week as do not get to use it much and my body does not bend like it used too,and it's a bit of handful doing the daily commute across bristol.
forgot the important bit, amazing machine, none of the civilized niceties you get with modern bikes

A honda 90 cc dax. Pretty sure thats a number plate on the rear. Also registered in Australia early 70s. Dad had a VW Country buggy which we often drove on Rainbow beach Queensland. Permits for beach driving , riding , and a license needed these days
Frame looks a bit better, still more work to do yet-
I have checked the engine for signs of wear and it all looks A1, even the sprag clutch. There will be no need to rebuild the motor for a while, just a bit more cleaning and then paint. I have started painting the main rusty parts of the frame and other items, just waiting on the rain to ease. The recent cyclone has not helped progress but should be back into it shortly?
Something I have found that was a bad design is that the starter motor must be removed before the engine is removed from the frame. Couldn't they have made that easier?
I picked up a 1985 suzuki ts 125 last night im going to give quick a go over (sort some of the bodges !) and sell it as i need money to spend on the ttr
Il post a few pics when i get in

Thnx. Will be good to see the little honda up and running looking like new. Are you
gunna try and find the front and rear rack For the CT 200.
It will be good to see it up and running. It has been VERY hard to find the parts needed i.e. front and rear racks, headlight shroud, new plastics, speedometer, rectifier/regulator etc. so I don't think this one will ever be like new unfortunately. The only microfiche site that I can find for it is- http://www.powerplantmotorcycles.com.au/find/fiche/10233 and the parts are not that cheap. If I can find a decent OEM supplier it may acquire the new parts, otherwise it will be just a trail bike and not be for riding on-road.
Here's a picture of the frame now painted-
I saw the picture of the XA175 in another thread, love the old trail bikes, you must have had fun in your day!
Thanks for sharing!
Enjoy!

Jarrah, where did u get that aluminum piece that's over the rear fender on your TTR250? I would love to have one of those! Is it secure enough to use as a grab bar?

You mean the B&B Offroad luggage rack, I bought that for $180.00 AUD delivered from their website. Well, I bought it with my frame guards and bashplate so I got it a little cheaper. You can find these on eBay or the B&B Offroad site here- http://bboffroad.com.au/shop/catalogsearch/result/?q=ttr250
Enjoy!

Oh sorry, yes it is very well constructed and I use it to lift the rear tire in the air with a tie down strap so yes it is strong enough to do what you will with. It does bolt to the frame.

After spending countless hours of using a drill with a wire brush attachment, folded up sandpaper, small brushes, a mixture of turps and diesel, washing powder, the engine is now ready for a proper degreasing and paint. The weather has been SHOCKING lately so not much has been done other than a few of the smaller parts. I will be buying brand new nitrogen filled twin shocks for it, should make it a bit better in the trails.
Enjoy!

The weather has been wet lately but it has come good and progress has been made. I received my new twin shocks also.
This is how far I have got, still need to paint the fibreglass side panels and the tank, the top of the motor (now VERY CLEAN and bottom end painted), buy a new front rim (the rear cleaned up alright) along with a few other bits and pieces.
I noticed that the 1977 CT125 uses the same parts so finding parts has been a little easier. Already found a rear rack for it, just need to track down the front rack etc.
It is getting there slowly, slowly, no rush.

The motor is half way there, just need to spray the top end now. Wasn't too worried about the overspray as it will not be seen in the finished product anyway. It is also no Rolls Royce.

Found a better fuel tank at work, I think it's off a CT125 but it fits. It had a few dints so I am in the process of fixing it with car filler. After panel-beating it as best I could with a rubber handled screwdriver (using the handle end) poked through the filler hole. A lot better than the original as it had dints and rust holes at the top of the tank.
I still cannot find any new mudguards/fenders so the ones I scraped down with a knife will have to do. The rear needed to be held over a heater and straightened a little but came up nice and straight.
Not the best pictures (bad light), but this is the motor now painted with VHT engine enamel-

Still waiting on fork boots, stickers, more paint for the fuel tank, exhaust, drum brake hubs ,.. xr200 headlight unit/shroud etc. and need to buy news rims but getting there now.
Hope this isn't boring too many people?
