Staintune Exhaust (or similar)

Hey Guys,

Have read with interest the exhaust mods from Linearprojects however as I don't have a welder I may have to go for an after market exhaust. While registered my TTR is trailered to our ride spot up in the mountains so I don't care if it's loud (in fact loved the deep throaty sound of that TTR from the vid Linearprojects put up).

So if anyone in Aus has a second hand Staintune (or similar) that will help my TTR breath a bit more and sound a bit bigger please let me know.

Cheers, Michael blankstare

My mate bought a DG pipe to suit his TTR, half the price of the Staintune & just a good as far as performance goes, does not sound as good but close

Thanks Terry, just had a quick look on ebay

www.ebay.com.au/itm/Yamaha-ttr250-DG-pipe-new-/160828461440

Brand new for $349, looks good. If I can't get a second hand Staintune that will be the go.

Cheers, Michael

Or you could buy a FMF Q4 for around $260.00 + $45-$60 shipping. I bought one and am very happy with the performance and sound of it. It is quiet when putting but becomes louder than stock once the throttle is cracked open.

Another option is the FMF Powercore for around $220.00 but I cannot say how good these are.

Hey Jarrah,

Really great to hear from you as someone impartial who has heard the FMF Q4 first hand. I have only heard the FMF Powercore and that was on a YouTube clip which is really hard to tell.

The search is narrowing.

Thanks,

I've got a Staintune Exhaust that I'd sell and I'm in Canberra too!

If you like private message me and you can drop round to have a look and if you like it we can agree a price.

Cheers,
Phil
