Parts needed.jpg

Anyone got any of these 3 parts they are prepared to part with for cash or to swap for other TTR parts?

I don't need the wiring loom/connector for the warning lights just the binnacle itself.

The rubber surround has persihed and its sort of "melted" in places.

If it helps, I think that the XT225 rubber dampener is the same as TTR250's.

Have a look... http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Yamaha/Motorcycle/1992/SEROW%20-%20XT225D/METER/parts.html

Thanks Jarrah but its for a project bike and I am trying to keep the end product affordable so am really looking for s/h parts.

I know there are owners that have replaced their original speedos with digital ones so am hoping.....

I bought a s/h Serow mount from the States and fitted it tonight. Unfortunately there are a few differences.

Firstly the two mounting holes have bonded in bushes that won't come out without ruining the mount - I tried hard disbelief

Secondly the angle of the mount is more acute than the TTRs which subsequently angles the speedo more. Haven't fitted the headlight yet but I hope it doesn't cause a problem.

So, if you buy a Serow mount for your TTR don't expect it to be a 100% fit blankstare

Anyways up, its all on the bike now so will see how the headlight fits tomorrow.
