They have finaly posted the dates...

Took me 15 minutes to make the motel bookings... Now just waiting

for the reg to open...

I did intend to take the TTR... With the mileage we have to cover each

day... I think the XT660R will be the bike... fuel tank on the TTR will be

a issue... the XT has a 22.5L tank & good for almost 500km

The DB1K is 2 days , 1000km of the lower south islands high country

trails/tracks/roads... each day is about 500km can be up to 15 hours rideing a day..

I usealy do it in 11 or 12 hours... It's open to 150 riders..

Can't think of a better way to spend a couple days beating the bike & body up...
