Foot Peg Springs
Permalink

I have acquired and trimmed up a pair of 2004 Yamaha WR250 foot pegs that now fit my 2004 TTR.

The standard springs I have don't fit the WR foot pegs as they fit inside the stock peg and the new peg requires a spring that will fit around the lower part of the peg.

Has anyone done this mod? Or does anyone have any ideas?

Any I feedback appreciated as I have two good pegs but can't use them!

doesnt the "arm" they bolt to come off ?
Cant you swap the whole arm and foot peg?
these are early and later type YZ125 pegs/fitment, so Id guess ebay may be a good source.

The footpeg bracket (arm) does come off from the TTR but unfortunately the YZ/WR's do not have a bracket. Furthermore, the TTR only has one bracket, the other one (left hand side) is like the YZ/WR's.

Not sure what you could do there, other than get a spring made up for it.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
