What are the diffenences between the Raid, OE and Blue models

Fairly new to TTR forum, and just wondered what the main differences are between the 3 models.

I gather the raid has a larger petrol tank, but other than that, what else is there?

Thanks

If you click on THIS LINK it will take you to the answer, Paul.

I would advise everyone to read The TTR FAQ web pages first, there are lots of answers to many queries and Brian has answered them all before. wink

Hello Paul and welcome to the forum

As Martyn suggests the FAQ The TTR FAQ web pages have lots of info regarding the TTR250. Also see THIS thread for more info.

Congratulations on joining, many helpful people on here that are more than happy to answer any questions that you have (or provide a link to the info).

Enjoy!

Thanks guys, I was looking in the wrong places,

I seem to have an additional oil grill attachment to my OE model, it does not apear to be a standard item.  Is this a normal mod to add on?

Not sure what you mean by oil grill attachment Paul. Whereabouts is it? It's not an external oil cooler is it?

That is more than likely what it is,

mounted at the front of the engine to one side, can not think what side, just not seen many pictures with them added.

So its an oil cooler, lol,  looks like a little radiator, with hoses going to it.

If you want to make a few quid then put the oil cooler on eBay - worth about £150!!!!!!!

I used the search function earlier and found it was not a cheap add on.     Is it really that beneficial.    I know of one time tbioengineer had to work hard in heavy mud, bud do not see that happening again

I have a 93 OE.  It has an oil cooler fitted front right.  I assumed they all had them...  were they an optional extra or is it aftermarkert?

 Optional extra, see HERE

Anyone that has not read the FAQ pages I suggest they do so as it has some useful info that could save a lot of trouble.
