TTR250 replacement number plates

Hi guys

I asked Karl at D&D Graphics if he would look at stocking white replacement side panel and headlight graphics for blue TTRs and he has done it!

See http://ddgraphics.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=2_10&product_id=158

The kit Includes:
2 x Side panel graphics

1 x Headlight surround Graphics

I haven't got a set myself yet so if anyone on here fits them, can they post up some pics please?

Brian

They look just the job Brian and I am tempted, price is ok. Shame the postage is almost 25% of the cost of the plates. But not being upto speed with postal charges maybe thats normal, I don't know.

D&D do a range of OE graphic kits and they are all on the website - my favourite colour scheme is on the TTR below:

Thank you Brian,

I was looking for the original colour scheme,  my prefered colour is always blue, that really ticks the box.

I think I may have used the eBay ones on this TTR but not on the tank.

The more i see the blue option, i really like it.

How easy did you find applying/removing the graphics Brian, how robust are they at staying on.  Any precautions regarding washing the bike once applied,

The graphics look well produced,  its another item on the wish list.

I confess that I find applying decals a bit stressful as I can be a bit clumsy.

There is an excellent guide to removing and applying decals here

I use TFR on my after-market decals with no ill effects. Just don't get the power washer lance too close or it will blow any decal off!

Remember that on metal-tanked TTRs, the original decals are under a very good coat of lacquer and its not an easy job to get it all off.
