I have went everywhere i could trying to diagnose this problem, Its really loud and makes the bike so LOUD that its quite annoying to ride. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scLm5G7Cn-I the problem in the video is the oil consumtion which I have already fixed, the piston was slapping in the cylinder, replaced the valve guides, valve seals, piston, rings, even the timing chain. I don't know what else to do, I also put an aftermarket tensioner on it and the problem is still there.
Sorry to hear that you are having trouble after spending so much.
It is hard to tell what the problem is from the vid, it is so LOUD! From how much smoke is coming out I would say that either the valve guide seals were not replaced properly or the rings were not fitted correctly.
This is how the rings should be below..
The valve guides just pust on by hand with no excessive force. This does not explain the noise though.
Did you check your crankshaft bearing for excessive play (by wiggling the conrod up & down)?
Is the timing right?- it should look like below when on Top Dead Centre (TDC).
Did you measure the cam chain play in between the camshafts correctly? It should be 2-5mm for the aftermarket manual tensioner.

Jarrah's advice is good for the TTR250 but you are in the wrong place for advice on the TTR-225. It is totally different to the 250. Thumper Talk is probably the best place to ask.
I know the is the wrong place, but I have posted on over 10 sites trying to find awnsers my bike has been down for over a month. I am looking for someone who knows enough about any motor to just help me find the issue. I am not to familar with 4-strokes, just 2-strokes.
The smoke was coming from the piston slapping which I have already replaced and that problem is gone. That was just an old video. I still have the noise after replacing everything I mentioned. I just don't know what else to do.
The crankshaft had side to side play, but no up and down play. As far as I can tell it was normal from all my 2-stroke rebuilds. The camshaft looked great, but had side to side and up and down play till I got on the lathe and made a new camshaft bearing, but it has some in and out play still. The valve guides were replaced with a tool. Everything that had been replaced was replaced professional by me, not just like beat in with a hammer like someone who has no clue would do.
Just to be sure the video is an old video just showing the noise. It no longer smokes, I have a new video I will upload in a bit.

Hi, it's good to see the lack of smoke in your recent video link.
To me there doesn't seem to be TOO MUCH noise from the engine. Four strokes have more things working inside than two strokes. There are cams, valves, rockers, and probably ballance shafts and other gubbins compared to just the crank and piston of a two stroke.
If you can establish where the noise is based it would give a clue to what's making it. Try getting a long screwdriver and putting its point on an engine location, then cup your hands round the handle to listen - like a stethoscope.
If the noise is loudest near the rocker box it may be cams or valves. If it's loudest near the timing chest it may be gears behind the cover. If loudest near the crankcase it may be main bearings or big ends. If it's loudest near the clutch it may be the gears or clutch.
Experiment all over the engine when it is ticking over to see if you can locate the source, then let us know.
Okay, I did the screwdriver trick. The knocking I can't find, But if you listen over the knocking in the video you hear a rattling, and I think that my crankshaft side cam sprocket might be bad, When I had the bike apart i checked the crank, it spun just a easy as spreading butter on a biscuit. That's why I think its the cam sprocket. When I looked you could see where it was wearing but it still has life in it, its not completely shot. The knocking or ticking on the other hand I went all over the motor and I could not find it anywhere, So on that I don't have the slightest clue.
Okay, Just went out to test it out, runs fine. It actually runs great, but... At lower RPM's when you barely turn the throttle it sputters, and i would say about 8/10 through the throttle at fast RPM's it starts to sputter, its not a constant sputter though its like a sputter every 4-6 seconds kinda thing.
If it runs good at all other throttle ranges it suggests that it is carb related.
Things to try
Try to make the bike splutter then shut it off once it has done this ''splutter'', check spark plug- is it black, brown or white? This may not help as plug readings can be decieving but worth a shot.
If the plug is black- try raising the needle clip position in the carb until it runs as desired.
If the plug is whiteish or clean- try lowering the clip needle position until it runs as desired.

What jets are you running?

I just thought about this, I rode my bike for maybe 6 hours with my new piston and it had a little build up forming on the piston already, too rich maybe?
