has anybody got a video of a bad sprag clutch bang and a normal sounding one please.

 You will be hard pressed finding someone with both vids.

If the sprag is good when engaging the starter button all should sound normal. (starter motor noise)

If it is not good it will ''clunk'' just after turning it off & also may have trouble starting (sounds like it's slipping (not a nice noise)

Sounds like it is pretty normal. They do have a little noise but more of a tap at the end.

 You may want to check the pinion gear ect. for wear though as if left it can be costly & it may be on the way out.

looked at everything and seems fine really, just me being over cautious really.
