I have owned my blue ttr for a couple of months now. when i got it, it had most things, bash plate long seat bolts, polisport headlight, wider foot pegs disk guard and case saver. have also wolfman enduro tank bag, front fender tool bag and e12 enduro panniers. just ordered a stainless silencer today, waiting delivery on friday . so what else do you guys upgrade/mod.??? Am having as much fun tinkering during the week as I do riding at weekends, well nearly . so what next guys and girls ???? Adrian
There are many ways to go about upgrading but i like to start with the basics. I see you do not have frame protectors added to your list so maybe these are an option?

My own: Your never too young to learn an old trick! :)
Your TTR was obvioulsy well loved to have been kitted out so well
+1 on the Symtecs and frame guards.
If you are tall(ish) then you may consider higher bars, and/or handlebar spacers, to make it easier (and more comfortable) to get up on the pegs in the rough stuff. Also they make it more comfortable going down steep stuff as your nose is less likely to be bumping on the front mudguard
To go with the Motad, what about a good after-market air filter such as a Twin Air?
An Iridium spark plug and magnetic sump plug might be cost effective tweaks.
hhi Brian. i already have twin air and iridium plug. and sump plug upgrade. the guy i bought it from said it was one of yours. has the ttr.com stickers and also totallyttrs.com on the plate.will be asking for heated grips for Christmas. Adrian
If you don't already I think a spare set of wheels is always worth while if you can pick them up at a decent price. When I had my first ttr I had Avon distanzia road / trail tyres on one set and ac10 enduros on the others then I could switch between them in about ten mins.
Not sure about the shorty on its own, as it's always been fitted with the FMF w/re-jet. But when combined with the rest of those mods it adds quite a bit more grunt throughout the rev range... Oh and it sounds the mutts nutts.
I don't know what the model is, sorry. It's not quite a direct fit as the reservoir is fixed, and is located where the battery box is supposed to be. The battery box had to be removed to accomodate the reservoir.
I wonder if its a WR/YZ shock as they are fixed reservoir? Something that was already on the bike when you got it?
From my comparing of photos & parts diagrams, I think the WR/YZ shock is very close in length. The TTR & WR use a similar linkages, but are installed opposite from each other. Where the two-arm link is connected the the swing arm on the TTR, it is connected to the frame on the WR/YZ.
Yeah it was on the bike when I got it. It makes the bike sit slightly lower than stock, but the ride is perfect. I have never ridden anything more comfortable and smooth offroad. Although I would like a little more travel for jumps.
