Recently purchased a TTR250, almost new, with very low kms. Replacement for my old 84 XT250. Enjoying single track adventures and exploring the bush and occassionally a beer or bundy rum. Looks like a great forum all. Regards Kurt. Plans are, bark busters. Check. Bash plate. Check. Header plug removed. Check. Next, sort out low to mid torque and throttle response.... Mmm exhaust. Anyone have a tk pipe or maybe a staintune or motard to trial. Or has anyone compared on a dyno, for me its not about the peak number but more the useability in tight and steep low end needed. My ol farm bike xt outperforms at present. This little bike has heaps of potential.

Welcome, Kurt.
I would advise you to get to know your TTR first before lashing new pipes, silencers and tuning bits on it.
They are very capable machines with plents of torque in their solidly built engines.
It is surprising where they can get and are very reliable.
Martyn
