I recently downsized from a DR650 to this fine 2006 TTR250. I finally got out to play in the woods on Saturday and I am very pleased. This light bike gave me the confidence to tackle obstacles that I would have rode around before. Great bike. I still have a few electrical issues to sort out on the lighting kit the previous owner put on, then I'll try to get the DMV to give me a street title for it.

They are great bikes, aren't they? I hope that you can get it street licensed without any trouble. There are so many more opportunities for good riding.

They are great. I participated in a dual sport event this weekend and had to laugh at all the places that I fell last year but cruised past easily even though it was wetter than last year.
