Hi

I have a 94 oe ttr250,can anyone tell me if the front wheel axle is a standard size across the range of ttr 250's?

I am looking for a axle shaft to make a temporary mini "spare" wheel so as I can load my ttr in the back of a renault espace to enable me to transport the bike else where in the country to ride some lanes.once wheeled out at my destination I put the original wheel back on and hit the lanes...yeepee!

This I am hoping will lower the front end enough to run it up the loading ramp without any difficilties from it fowling on the interior of the car.when I picked my bike up the first time when I purchased it I laid it flat in the back and petrol dripped out the filler cap onto the carpets, my wife has beaten round the head with that ever since, so I'm looking not to repeat that.

The condition of the shaft is not that important as long as its straight, the right size and can be secured as the original to the forks. If its pitted or has wear on this won't matter as its only temporary for loading and transporting purposes.

If anyone has an axle that would do the job I be happy to here from you.

Cheers Andy
