Wanted rear shock 1993 OE
Permalink

I'm after a rear shock for a 1993 OE. Also right rear plastic and a front brake switch.

Anyone got any of these they'd part with?

Cheers

Chris

Is there a difference between the raid and the OE shock?

Yep - no adjuster on the Raid shock reservoir plus the top shock mount is different - see pic of Raid shock below.

Thanks Brian. Looks like the one on ebay is a raid shock, so it's no good.

 What's wrong with your shock?

Item number is 280994608830
It's not a raid one, in the answer to Brian's question if I remember rightly your bike came with the upgraded shock on hence no battery etc!

That is a Raid shock. It looks like it might fit but the top bearing is different and I have never tried one in an OE frame.

I remember now about the non-standard shock....

Thanks, thought it was a Raid shock as there was no adjuster on the reservoir, although I'm still not familiar enough with them to notice the difference in the top mounts though.

Yeah it has an Ohlins fitted, can't see a model number though. It sits too low for my liking and the travel is about 2/3 of stock, not really enough for the places I ride.

No worries. I saw the refurbed jobs on TTTRs, very nice but a bit out of the budget. Having said that, I should get a few quid for the one I'm taking off, so not totally out of the question.
