quiet engine buzzing

going home tonight the engine started making a small buzzing sound from the left hand side of the engine, don't know if I was because of low oil level or engine being hot. sorry to ask just reassuring myself

Buzzing doesn't describe an engine noise I know. Noises from the LHS of the engine can be confusing as the chain can make some very odd noises at times confuse

probably engine was hot in rush hour traffic and just wanted to let me know :D

could be chain that was was too tight and has improved a lot, see what it's like tomorrow
