Can you tell me what  alloy wheel rim silver? Where do you buy that & what Brand??

I think i may just go with something like this as it should look awesome as  compitition Silver              see here or here or here

...........................................................................

Oh i think i have found it. I'd say it's the same as wr swingarm paint. It even says ttr250 accent color (spelt USA way) when you scroll down.... Silver (SL) or maybe if i want to get fancy  Silver Metallic here

....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

I now have all the colours i need eg.

....................                                   .....................

Frame colour                                    Swingarm colour

.....................                                 ........................

.........................                           .........................

Engine colour                                     Plastics

...........................                        ...........................

Not that i will need the plastics colour as i'm buying new plastics.

.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Still not sure if it's the metallic silver i should be using on the swing arm though confuse

Cheers,

           Jarrah.

Good morning all,

Cheers,

I have the same problem Jarrah. I bought some "end of line" PJ1 frame paint from the USA which I got sent to a relative (also in the USA) for onward transmission.

At the same time, for some reason, "surface mail" stopped and couriers are unhappy to ship aerosols in plane holds no

I now have 10 cans of the best frame paint ever languishing in the States with no idea how to get them to the UK cry

Sounds like a bit of a pickle you got yourself into there Brian  no

I have the problem of not knowing the Genuine Yamaha colour #

I'm not sure whether they change the paint numbers for different models & use the same paint or not??confuse

These are the numbers below.

000C DPBC1 DARK PURPLISH BLUE C0CKTAIL 1

004C DPBM1 DEEP PURPLISH BLUE METALLIC 1

0222 DPBM4 DEEP PURPLISH BLUE METALLIC 4

0355 DPBM6 DEEP PURPLISH BLUE METALLIC 6

0387 DPBM7 DEEP PURPLISH BLUE METALLIC 7

Is the paint you have the correct frame color for my '04? (purple/blue)

If it is, it's time to open your US branch office & sell me one!

 Yeah it's the right paint.

.............................................................................................

To Brian,

I'm not sure about this but it might be worth checking out a hazardous substance box.  Apparently you can ship paint in these but not sure about the uk. May be worth looking into though.

Jarrah.

I thought i would update this so it's not just a useless thread for the topic & incase anyone is interested.

...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Optional (my choice :)              Calipers*                        High sparkle blue                      00F7 (HBL)

......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

I will be using a base coat & clear coat.

For the swing arm it will have to be a pearl clear coat with a blue sheen to it so it matches OEM colour.

It should all turn out great :)

If you want to check out more Yamaha colours & codes you can use the helpfull pdf files below.
