Looks like a cheapo universal headlight. I've got a spare 350lc headlight which has a bigger lens and bulb so might try to modify the case and get that to fit.
Oh so you know Open enduro headlight bulb spec: 12V 35W/36.5W
Main cause of burnt headlight wires: wrong bulb spec. (voltage/amperage too high)

Bugger I think the LC bulb is 55w. Anyway the original loom will plug straight onto the back of it without the extra wireing that's on the aftermarket job thats on now.
My old Raid headlight runs a 60/55W bulb which is standard and as far as I am aware the stator is the same for all models. The 15A fuse is there to provide fault/overload protection so the wiring to the headlight will have been designed by Mr Yamaha to carry that much.
I also ran a couple of 50W halogen spots for a few years which I wired from the battery through a 10A inline fuse and a relay. The power to drive the relay was taken from the existing headlight switch via another light switch so I could run on the main headlight or the main headlight and the spots. Worked well for many years with no problems.
After one spot got damaged I found a couple of LED spots which give more light, which is nearer daylight in colour, not the yellowish light I was getting from the halogens. The current draw is also a lot less.
I have just got a couple more for my new TTR which, when I get around to fitting them, I will post some pic's
I'd love to know which led spots fit, work and cost. Have looked around myself but been baffled by choice and lack of experience...

I fitted some LED spots from HERE and I have been very happy with them.
I fitted them to my Raid (you can never have too much light on a winters night when riding along cliff top!) I was having problems on a rocky climb when you hit the bottom of it and the front wheel started to climb upwards there was a black hole for a couple of seconds which was a bit worrying as the run up is short you just have to open the throttle and hope for the best
I looked at lights from Trail Tec but was put off by the price. I went for the 1600 lumen lights. I have used them just over a year now and have been impressed by them. It rains a bit up here in the North of Scotland but I have had no problems with water ingress.
The light is more of a flood and the light is very white like daylight. I have fitted them quite high up to give a good throw of light. I don't use the bike on the road as such, but as long as you positioned them correctly and switched them correctly I am sure they would be legal.
I have just got a second set for my new blue TTR which I will be fitting soon. This time I have gone for the 3000 lumen set which arrived in 3 days from Hong Kong!
The bike is due its MOT soon so I will ask the tester (who I know) what is legal.
If it comes to it I can just cover them up when on the road.
Brilliant, had a look and may well tickle my debit card! If you get a chance I'd love to see them mounted on your bike. I have a raid too but it has an OE headlight which is dismal. Thanks again, once more proving this forums value :)

'94 Yamaha TTR 250 Raid (with Open Enduro headlight, grrr...)
I looked at the Vision X lights but was put off by the price! The pair on my Raid cost less than one Vision X and they have a light output of 1600 lumens.
This is what they look like and how I mounted them.
The mounting was only going to be temporary, but it's stayed as it is. It works fine as it is.
I will post some pictures of the new LED's that I have for my new bike when I can get the pictures off my new phone (read: when I fathom it out )
Fhe new ones have a light output of 3000 Lumens. The sun will rise in the West the first morning I ride out with them on!
MOT tomorrow for the new bike, Once that's all done I will get them fitted.
Got the LED lights fitted a while back and have been using them for a few months now so I thought I better take some pictures and post them so anyone that is thinking of doing something similar can get an idea of the light output.

I have found them to be fantastic at night, I can ride at the same speed in the dark as I do in the daytime (I never get above 20-25mph most of the time, too many large rocks to collide with!)
The lights are 30W each and they do run warm even in nights and mornings when the ambient temperature is well below freezing. The lights have built in auto dimming if they do overheat, but this has never come into play with me.
In the summer I can ride home at 22.00 and it's still light enough that I don't need lights so I should think that, for me, overheating will not be an issue.
This is the second set of these lights I have purchased, the first set are still fitted to my old Raid and are still working fine.
I was in a rush, as usual, so I mounted them 'tempoary'. I removed the bolts that hold the headlight to the surround and replace them with studding about 50mm long, ran a locnut down it to secure the headlight back to its surround and then mounted the spots onto these lengths of studding. It's similar to what Brians mate has done in one of the posts above, well the position is the same either side of the headlight.
I want to make some brackets and mount them just above the front indicators, at some point.
